The goal of our Digital Asset was to assist students in their approach to the HSC examinations. The technology component allows students to review course content in an interactive and collaborative manner, resulting in further discussion and revision of the content.
The Digital Asset also requires students to work independently, asking them to identify key parts of the material. Because of this, students end up working both independently and as a group to solve puzzles and complete tasks relating to the course content.
Due to the nature of the content and the scenario being that of revision rather than acquisition, It is assumed that the students would be both confident and competent to work both as an individual and as a group, however the digital asset allows further reflection on the students’ knowledge and social understanding of the knowledge.
